I am SO John Irving-ed out. Don't get me wrong, he's a great writer and I liked them. Read three of his novels in a row ("The World According to Garp", "A Prayer of Owen Meany", "The Hotel New Hampshire") but wow, I think I am ready to read something that makes me happy and smile at the end. Too much deaths and suicides for me and I don't think I can take in any more. Any suggestions on happy books? Please? Before I go crazy? But, I do like this quote from "The Hotel New Hampshire"...
"Keep passing the open windows"
