とても興味深いサイト・プロジェクトを発見。その名もThe Uniform Project。ブロガーの女の子は1着のドレスを365日着まわしてファッションでも環境を壊さずに地球に優しくできるというテーマに挑戦中。徹底的に着まわすっていうだけではなく、このプロジェクトに寄付されたお金は全てAkanksha's School Projectというインドのスラムの子どもたちの教育の為のチャリティへ寄付される。
プロジェクトが始まったのは先月の5月。まだ10ヶ月以上残っているけど、頑張って欲しいな。もちろん、どうやって同じドレスを着まわすのかも興味津々だけど、素晴らしい大儀の為だから。
Found a very interesting site/project called "The Uniform Project". The blogger has pledged to wear one dress for one year as an exercise in sustainable fashion. Every day she will reinvent the dress with a totally different look, using accessories and layering other clothes. The project is also a fundraiser for the Akanksha Foundation, and all contributions will go toward Akanksha's School Project to fund uniforms and other educational expenses for slum children in India.
Not only is it fun to see how she changes the look of the dress every day, but it's also for a good cause. The project started last month in May, so she's still got 10 months or so to go. Definitely a site that I will keep checking!
